With pristine white beaches, camping facilities, and lots of picnic benches, Cosy Corner is indeed, very cosy.
Cosy Corner Road extends south off of the Lower Denmark Road allowing easy access to this wonderful beach.
Cosy Corner lies just north of West Cape Howe National Park at the end of Cosy Corner Road off the Lower Denmark Road. This is definitely a gorgeous beach that is off the beaten track.
Overlooking Migo Island at the south west end of the beach, Cosy Corner is a delight.
Nearby, Shelley Beach and Shelley Beach Lookout offer magnificent views of Torbay Head in West Cape Howe National Park, the most southern point of Western Australia.
We enjoy going to Cosy Corner for the day, walking along the beach and having a picnic at the tables on the dunes.
Alternatively there's a great cafe The Cape Bar just up the road that serves great burgers, coffee, toasties and other locally made items including honey.
Cosy Corner Beach is located along the Bibbulmun Track which is one of the world's long distance walking tracks, going from Albany to Perth, Western Australia. The camping facilities cover all the essentials including picnic benches, BBQ's and toilets plus amazing camping spaces within the bushland dunes at Cosy Corner Beach.
The beach is generally sheltered and is popular for swimming. The offshore islands, in the Ngari Capes Marine Park, are poplar with scuba divers. The stunning reefs and drop-offs offer close up views of a variety of colourful marine life.
Cosy Corner is a special purpose zone for shore-based line and shore-based rock fishing only.
