William Bay National Park overlooking Tower Hill
William Bay National Park in Denmark, Western Australia, is an extraordinary National Park. The jewels of the park are Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks where rounded granite boulders create a reef stretching a hundred metres out to sea.
Overlooking the entire park is Tower Hill an ancient stone formation which can be seen from almost everywhere in the park (and from other coastal locations including Lights Beach). It's part of the Bibbulmun Track and can be visited via a walking trail within the National Park.
William Bay National Park stretches from Parry Beach at the western end of Mazzoletti beach to the eastern edge of Lights Beach closer to Denmark Town and offers something for everyone.
The Bibbulmun Track winds its way through William Bay National Park on the way from Albany to Perth. View a MAP OF WILLIAM BAY NATIONAL PARK

The eastern end of the National Park which includes Greens Pool and Elephant Rock is accessible from the South Coast Highway approximately 14 kilometres west of Denmark. The western end of the park is accessible further down the South Coast Highway via Parry Road and on to Parry Beach. William Bay National Park is situated between Denmark and Bow Bridge, Western Australia.
Greens Pool is a delightful sheltered place to swim and used by local children during summer as a place to learn to swim! Greens Pool is the most popular attraction of William Bay with a large car park, toilet facilities and a well kept staircase leading down onto the beach. It is one of the most popular swimming places on the coast. The giant boulders provide a natural springboard to take a leap into the turquoise ocean! Underwater is a whole new world that must be seen to be appreciated fully. Snorkel the reefs and meet our water locals!
Elephant Rocks at Elephant Cove where the 'elephant' rocks are located is accessible via a staircase which brings you down onto the beach. Walk between two of these massive stone giants to reach the 'cove'. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED DURING THIS COVE ENTRANCE as the tide sometimes stops entry and makes it dangerous! BE AWARE! The boulders in this area are huge, mind your step. Do not litter!
Waterfall Beach: In winter a waterfall courses off the heathland and on to the beach. Located at the eastern end of the park, past the Elephant Rocks carpark towards Madfish Bay. This short beach is less well known and we love this about it!
